• BELIEF IN GOD
• LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY
• THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION
• THE RULE OF LAW
• COURTESY AND MORALITY

(the principles in Rukun Negara)

Malaysia is a country that our leaders claimed as a peaceful and free whereby tolerance and acceptance are widely practiced here. Judging by eyes and news, foreigners might think Malaysia is a perfect country that beautifully located on the globe, outside the danger zone. However if they observe vividly, watch carefully and understand by heart magnificently they later will decipher the real situation that happen in Malaysia.

BELIEF IN GOD

What do we understand by belief in God.? As a muslim, I believe that in order to have belief in God, one’s has to be able to practice what Islam has taught us in term of every aspects and willing to apply the rules in every condition which totally guided by Al-Quran and As-Sunnah. It means that the way we live should be as what had been notified by Allah because we believe of sins and also rewards. However in Malaysia nowadays, I don’t see that, in fact muslims in Malaysia seem to go with the flow day by day ( I remind myself too). For example, just look at concerts and see how we are totally sunk by entertainments and dreams that Western has created for us.

LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY

Loyalty for me is some appreciation that only the deserved can get only. Malaysia is a land that we Malaysians should really concern of. The bloodshed during the colonization years by our warriors is something that whole generation ought to remember forever. Where is the place we are going to stay and live harmoniously if not in our own motherland? We belong here. For king, I don’t want to highlight the issue. I let you to think.

THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION & THE RULE OF LAW

It actually different but I want to give my overall view of these two principles. The main question is how truly our constitution and law work in helping the nation’s to develop steadily without any corruption or mendacity portray by our HEADS especially. Does it being equally carried out to every people regardless of their positions in the country? Moreover, does the actions really being taken seriously or not. Just look at the unsolved case of Nurin Jazlin and many more that I believe we are all very aware of. Where is our unsung heroes that we used to proud of before?

COURTESY AD MORALITY

Does Malaysian really practice these attitudes everyday in life? Or we just apply these at certain extent and at certain people. We don’t have to go far but look at how the car drivers treat pedestrians at street and how students behave to their teachers. What happens to Malaysians nowadays is something for us to ponder and wonder. That is not a matter of the country, but the people.
